The 2008-20 Impreza WRX STI, Subaru updated the 2.5L EJ25 engine with dual AVCS featured on both intake and exhaust camshafts. This engine is commonly referred to as the EJ257B platform. The BC camshaft set is a plug and play application. The Stage 2 cams feature a short duration for nice street manners with a slight lope at idle. Stage 2 camshafts are an excellent all-purpose spec and OEM springs and retainers can be utilized while upgraded springs and retainers are suggested.
