The Toyo Proxes R888R are top-quality radial tires designed to overcome the most demanding races and competitions. Featuring a race-efficient “fast warm-up” tread compound, the Proxes R888R quickly reaches the proper performance temperature to give your ride an outstanding edge over the competition. This compound is fabricated into an aggressive, asymmetric tread pattern that features massive outboard shoulder blocks. Thanks to large tread blocks on the outside tread, lateral grip and cornering are efficiently improved.
The tire’s wide center rib enhances directional stability while making certain steering response is always excellent. The continual development of the tire’s contact patch makes certain acceleration is quick and braking is precise on the track. Strength and durability on high-speed drives are emphasized as the tire’s internal structure features two high-tensile steel belts that are supported by a two or three-ply Rayon casing and reinforced by spirally-wound nylon.
