2010 GM 8.25IFS Front ends equipped w/ factory 3.08 gear will need a new carrier when changing ratio. When purchasing 3.42 & up gears for a factory 3.08 application you must also purchase a YC G26018131 case with it. Deck Height w/ 3.08 Ratio 1.780” Deck height w/ 3.42 & up Ratio 1.920”
